PPF Cost in Dubai: What Determines Your Paint Protection Film Quote?
There is no useful one-price-fits-all answer to PPF cost in Dubai. Learn which choices change a quote, what a clear written estimate should list, and how to compare coverage fairly.

If you are comparing PPF cost in Dubai, the first useful question is not simply “How much per car?” It is: what film, which panels, and what work are included in this quote for my vehicle?
Paint protection film (PPF) is fitted to selected painted surfaces. A quote changes with the product and finish, vehicle shape, coverage, paint condition, and the installation work agreed. AutoGlow does not publish a one-price-fits-all rate: the service page asks customers to request a quote for their vehicle. This guide explains what to clarify before you compare estimates.

Start with the coverage, not the headline price
Two estimates are not comparable if one covers a front-end package and the other covers every painted exterior panel. Ask for the covered panels to be written down by name.
AutoGlow’s PPF service page describes three coverage levels:
- Front Package: bonnet, bumper, fenders, mirrors and headlights.
- Full Body Package: the front-package areas plus doors, skirts, roof, pillars, quarter panels and trunk.
- Complete Protection Package: full-body exterior PPF plus interior accent protection, including trim, the console, infotainment screens, door cups and edge guards.
Confirm the final panel list against your car and written estimate. A model’s bumpers, splitters, trim and body shape can affect what a shop includes under a package name. Ask whether any painted area you care about is excluded.
Five things that can change a PPF quote
1. Film product and finish
Ask for the film manufacturer and exact product line to appear on the quote. If you want a particular look, specify gloss, satin or another finish and confirm it is available for the requested coverage. “Premium film” by itself is not enough detail to compare products.
Product lines can have different specifications and warranty terms. Request the manufacturer’s documentation for the exact film being quoted, and read the applicable warranty conditions. Do not assume that every film has the same coverage, care requirements or warranty length.
2. Vehicle make, model and body shape
The amount and shape of film, panel complexity and access around edges vary by vehicle. A large SUV, a low sports car with complex bodywork and a saloon do not necessarily take the same material or fitting time. Tell the installer the exact model, year and trim, and mention aftermarket body kits or paintwork.
3. Coverage level and any add-ons
More covered panels mean a larger scope of work. If you are considering interior screens or glossy trim as well as exterior paint, ask for those items to be listed separately. That helps you decide what matters most and compare the same scope with another installer.
4. Paint condition and preparation
Film is applied over the vehicle’s existing finish. Existing scratches, chips, repaired panels, contamination or uneven paint may affect preparation and the expected appearance beneath the film. Ask the shop to inspect the car before confirming the estimate. If paint correction or repair is recommended, have that work described and priced as a separate line unless the quote clearly includes it.
5. Installation and handover details
The written scope should say how the film is cut and fitted, which edges are wrapped where practical, what inspection is carried out, and what handover or aftercare guidance you receive. Ask who will perform the installation and whether the job will be registered for the manufacturer’s warranty, if that applies to the product.
What a clear written estimate should include
Before booking, check that the estimate identifies:
- The vehicle make, model, year and any relevant body kit or repaint.
- The film brand, product line and finish.
- Each covered panel, including exclusions.
- Preparation, paint correction or repair work, shown as included or separate.
- The installation and inspection scope.
- The exact manufacturer warranty document and any registration steps, when applicable.
- The total price, taxes, deposit, payment schedule and estimated handover date.
These details make it easier to compare a like-for-like scope. If an estimate only says “full car PPF,” ask for a panel list before relying on it.
How to compare two PPF quotes fairly
Put the estimates side by side and match the film, finish, panels and preparation. Check that both describe the same parts of the car and the same treatment of edges, trims and existing paint issues. Then compare warranty terms from the manufacturer and the shop’s installation process.
If one quote is lower, ask what is different. It may be a different film, fewer panels, less preparation or a different installation scope. A lower total is only useful once you know what is included.
Is front-end PPF enough?
A front package can be a practical starting point if you want to focus on the bonnet, bumper, front fenders, mirrors and headlights. Full-body coverage extends the film to the other painted exterior panels listed in the package. The right choice depends on the car, your priorities and the written quote, rather than a universal rule.
